Five local photographers from the Klamath Falls, Oregon area have spent the past two years working on a long-term photo documentary project that is revisiting visual themes common to the Great Basin and the American West.

Eric Dillenberger, Bev Fairclo-Ott, Jonne M. Goeller, Robert Froton, and Alfred Voegels have teamed up to capture the landscape, people, history and traditions of the Great Basin. Remnants are everywhere, and thanks to the hospitality of local ranchers, the group has had unprecedented access to places and events generally not seen by the public.

Each photographer brings a unique twist to the project. They all met through their affiliation with the Klamath Art Association and quickly realized they shared a common passion for images of the west.

Is there a book in the works? Or possibly a book in DVD form? We hope so, and its title will be "The West Revisited".

Join us for a showing of our revisiting visual themes common to the Great Basin and the American West. The new exhibit will be held in the Modoc Gallery located inside the Klamath County Museum. The exhibit will open on Saturday, June 2nd. 2007 with a public reception for the photographers from 2 to 4 PM. The museum is located at 1451 Main Street and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. The showing will run through the end of August 2007.
